My mother passed away when I was nine from cancer, she was known as wonderful cook and thanks to my aunt ( who recently passed away)for keeping her recipes alive for me. I too miss the history from her, the present, past and future.Proud Italian Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18101116879818585638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6985607096473810042.post-38934832115232518442012-05-14T21:27:40.827+10:002012-05-14T21:27:40.827+10:00What a glowing, beautiful tribute to your mom. I enjoyed seeing all the old photos and of course the recipe has always been one of my favorites.Ciao Chow Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04479595368522070565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6985607096473810042.post-80006492204224014142012-05-14T11:16:56.115+10:002012-05-14T11:16:56.115+10:00Teared up but the legacy of love left behind is fi...Teared up but the legacy of love left behind is filled with largesse. Being on the cover of Time magazine is overrated. Unconditional love is not. And the recipe will stay bookmarked until I make it. It brought tears to my eyes; of nostalgia and longing but also of deep joy and love for all she gave us, for the verve with which she lived her life and for the traditions and stories my sister and I now continue with our own families. Our dearest Mum who we hold so very dear to our hearts; forever loved, never forgotten. With An Italian Heartnoreply@blogger.com
